Property Manager Feedback
Generally speaking, I think this location is pretty good. The schools are well-regarded, and it’s a desirable location overall.
We have a rental home not too far away on 73rd St, that is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath SFH home with a 2-car garage. It was recently remodeled with a new kitchen, both bathrooms totally redone and updated throughout. That home is rented for $1,595/mo. I’m assuming each unit is a 3 bed, 2 bath and they are in good condition, I would estimate the rental value to be right around $1,400/mo.
There is quite a bit of demand in the market for rental property, but we’re not seeing the desperation that exists in some other regional markets. Tenants are still looking for a property that is well-maintained and priced fairly. When we see that balance of quality and price, the homes are renting quickly, often in less than 30-days. Without that balance, the property can sit for quite a bit longer.
